OUR BELIEF
The Great Commission is the main focus of a New Testament Church (Matthew 28:18-20). When the Great Commission is truly followed, there are five biblical functions of a New Testament Church (Acts 2:41-47):

  1. Evangelism
  2. Discipleship
  3. Ministry
  4. Fellowship
  5. Worship

THE GOSPEL
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “But the righteous man shall live by faith.” - Romans 1:16-17

We desire to see the gospel embraced by our membership. As a people who profess faith in Jesus Christ, we ought to live every day in light of the person and work of our Redeemer. The gospel not only frees us from the domain of sin but also from its power! We also desire to see the gospel embraced by our community. We want to see Appling and the surrounding communities believe in and exalt Jesus. This is why we give ourselves to sharing the gospel with those around us. If you are unsure of what the gospel is really all about or if you have never heard this gospel before please see this
link.

AFFILIATION
We are in friendly cooperation with the Kilpatrick Baptist Association, Georgia Baptist Convention, and Southern Baptist Convention. As a Southern Baptist church we voluntarily adhere to the
2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
