Prayer Walk
Annie Armstrong 2022
This year we are hoping to raise 100$ per family for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. If you would like more information or would like to give directly you can find it at www.anniearmstrong.com/. The offering was started in 1895 by Woman's Missionary Union® (WMU) to benefit the work of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board). We hope you will join us in promoting this cause.

Life Groups
Life Groups are for fostering discipleship based on the early New Testament Church from Acts 2:21-47. We will be studying the first eight weeks D-Life Positive Choices. Most group meetings are about two hours long. They share a meal together for the first hour, then follow a guided Bible study for the second hour. However, every group is different; some play live worship music, some might meet at a park, some will participate in communion together, etc. All groups have a unique identity. All groups have the understanding that people will come and visit but might choose to "plant" themselves in a different group. Listed below are the Life Groups available email the one in which you plan to attend.

Wonderful Wednesdays
Wonderful Wednesdays is an exciting ministry for our children age two through 12th grade. This ministry meets on Wednesday evenings during the school year. During this time we also have a prayer meeting/Bible study for the adults.
Mission Friends is geared for children two to five. They meet together to sing, pray, do crafts, and learn about missions.
RAs & GAs is for children grades 1-6. They go through a circuit of missions, music, and recreation. In missions, we study and pray for specific missionaries in North America and around the world. We visit church members that are home bound and take part in a program at our local nursing home. In music, the children learn songs that help them to know Jesus and trust Him. Recreation is a time of fun and games!
We also have a Mentor program where each child in grades one through five is mentored by an adult church member. This is a popular ministry enjoyed by adults and children alike. The children are made to feel special and loved, which points to God's great love for each of them.
The Youth Bible Study called Reach is for students grade 7th-12th. Our Student Ministry enables our youth to reach their full God created potential, through ministries and activities that give young people a chance to participate in church life, develop their own faith and spirituality, and discover new friendships.
Women's Ministry
Our women regularly gather for special times of discipleship and encouragement. Our women also gather for an annual retreat. This retreat is usually held in the spring and is a great way to rest and fellowship with other ladies.
Men's Ministry
Our men regularly gather for special times of discipleship and encouragement.
Youth
Our student ministry is designed to connect students to Jesus and lead them into spiritual growth. For this reason, our passion is for reaching out to disconnected students and leading our connected students in discipleship. The students meet twice weekly and grow through small groups, Biblical teaching, worship, and local missions.
Missions
Before Jesus ascended into heaven He charged the disciples and those who would follow in their footsteps to "make disciples of all nations." Here at Damascus we want to take that charge seriously. We are committed to planning annual mission trips as well as organizing local mission projects in our area.
Below is a sampling of organizations with which we support:
Broad Street Ministry Center
Lake Crossing Health Center
Augusta Care Pregnancy Center
North American Mission Board
Gospelink
International Mission Board
